About Me

Call me Alex, seriously.

I'm a plumper, I plumb for the money. And with that money I get myself lift tickets. You will typically find me at blue mountain or mount st. loius. Technically I'd say look for the kid with long hair and a hat but in the snowboard world that really wouldn't get you anywhere.

I just got into snowboarding in 2007 after skiing for about 12 or 13 years, had wanted to make the switch for some time but never had the money/energy to really learn. Then I said f*ck it, bought a quality set up, and went out there thinking I'd own the mountain. Probably about 20 minutes into me and my buddys first runs on the beginner hill, I realized that wasnt going to be so easy. Within two hours I had scoriponed, windmilled, summersaulted, and whatever else possible. I guess the falling gave me incentive to get better.

Now if I catch an edge and go thump its hilarious to both me and whoever I'm with. All in the fun of the sport. I'm laid back, I guess. I fall a fair amount, but they are epic tumbles, I assure you.

Hopefully I can make it out to BC, whistler would be best. Time will tell on that, though the move was not planned due to snowboarding, rather I like the place.

Words of Wisdom

Don't get shot!

No seriously. That would hurt.

Don't try to sell bootlegs at a concert... and if you do... Well...
Make sure you don't get on stage and advertise you're selling...
The last thing i said was important. Put it on your fridge.

Seriously though, I've been busy with work ans sports and school and all this "keeping up" business. Haven't had much time for the internets as of late :( Or snowboarding to be frankly honest. It bums!
