im working on 4 hours of sleep, and i couldnt care less.
SNOWBOARDINGS BACK!
YAY! 13 years later I finally Graduate. all the way from kindergarten to grade 12. dam, it was a long time.
I hated elementary school with a passion. being stuck in one classroom with 1 teacher for a whole year. not alot of fun. high school was a different story. i really liked high school. i didnt like class, but the high school experience was awesome.
sports were a big part of my high school life. My biggest accomplishment. was when I was in grade 10. I made the Premier Boys soccer team. My only goal for high school was to make taht team in grade 10. and I did, as a starter too! wel to make things even better. we finished 1st in our season, won the Cities and Zones. So by doing that we make the provincials. Wow, what an experience that was. we won the bronze medal. That added to my popularity quite a bit.
I was also asked to play for the senior boys basketball team in grade 11. i decided no to play in grade 12.
Next was rugby, something our school is known for, or atleast used to be known for in the past. I had never played rugby before in my life. I didint even know the rules. In my first year, we qualified for the provincials, but finished a 14th; we were the 15th seed. but i hardly played that season. the next year I played quite a bit more. First we went down to New Zealand for a rugby tour. we had a blast, and manged to win one of our 4 games. During our season we won every single game. including a huge win over our arch rival St. Georgoes. yes, we partied hard that night. we lost the final of the zones to carson graham. and then finished 6th in the province. again, we lost to carson in the provs, they went on to win the whole thing.
i shoudl also mention, 2 days before the provincials, we were told that we had be caughht drinking over in New Zealand, and that we would be taken out of the provs. we faught back and got back in, but we hyad many consequences to follow. we had to take a pledge: no drinking anytime until june 30th(yea, I didnt last that long, neither did half the team) we had to make sandwiches for the homeless, we had an inschool suspention for the rest of the school year. And we have to put on some rugby camps for elementary school kids.
so yea, sports were a big part of my time at highschool. I am proud to say I only ever once studied for a test; my grade 11 math privncial. and I never failed a course.
all the conversations we had over the years, many unforgetable things happend. great friends were made. even better times were had.
i kept wanting school to finish. mostly because i hated getting up in the morning. although sitting in a class room wasnt the most fun ive had.
now that its finally over, i dont think i want to go. people always say college is the most fun you'll ever have, I hope they're right.
I'm back from new zealand. as expected we got our asses kicked at rugby. we did however manage to win a game. total record of 1-3. not bad for a canadian team. now off the field, thats where we really won. we were there for 12 days, and were waisted for 9 of them(yea, thats gonna be our excuse for losing 3 games). beer is so cheap! a 6 pack is only $5 nz (wesker then canadian money). there beer is also weaker, but if you drink enough of it really fast, it will get you drunk. it got 2 of our guys so drunk that they passed out. so what did we do? we shaved their eyebrows ofcourse. you snooze you lose. new zealand ladies were very, very disapointing. they've got nothign on canadian girls. After our schools last tour 4 years ago in scotland half the team got laid on the first night. in a total of 12 days and coountless pub, parties and clubs the team total of get downs totaled zero. and no, we didnt try to go after maori chicks. all in all, it was an awesome trip. many great memories. makes me want to go on more roadtrips. So much funny shi*t happend on our bus. I haven't posted my pictures on the internet yet, but i will do so in the next week or two. http://home.claneoc.com

Huge Improvement. 3 years after I came up with the idea to to have my own personal page that had links and a google search box, I did what many asked for. This new version has 3 different RSS feeds. currently Sports news from Sportsline.com, Torino 2006 Oylimpic news from CBC.ca, and Word of the Day from Urban Dictionary. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and they automatically update, so you are getting up-to-date information straight from the source. What sets my site apart from others alike is the scoreboard. You can chose from NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL and PGA. like the RS feeds, they are updated all the time by Sportsline.com. A big thanks goes out the snowboard.com's own Funks Hybrid for his great javascript writing skills. He made it possible to open the scoreboards in the same frame, aswell as getting them to reload every 1.5 minutes for the latest scores. It still has great links(including snowboard.colonies.com) and the Google. not to mention the nice design to compliment it all. http://home.claneoc.comyay me!

well actually, it was just below my lip How did thsi happen? well we were having rugby practice. its was rainging and very windy. we were all jsut waerng t-shirts and shorts. so yes, we were all frozen. so trying to tackle was not all that easy. somehow while trying to make a tackle, the guys heel pinched my bottom lip right over my bottom teeth and they slit a hole right through my skin. seeing how i was so cold, i didnt hurt that much, i just felt my teeth getting smoked by the boot, luckily they didnt chip(no i wasnt wearing a mouth gaurd). but it got me out of practice. instead of cleaning off the blood right away, i turned on the hot water to warm my hands up(yes, while blood was dripping from my face). my shop teacher was quite stunned. anyways, after semi warming my hands up and wipping the blood off, i got my dad to pick me up and head over to the walk in clinic. i needed 2 stitches. im no stranger to stitches, but dam, these two hurt alot. i could feel the stitch being threaded through. but whatever, i'll have a nice battle scar

Did everyone have fun at school on friday? As you can see, i chose to skip school to go snowboarding. With all the rain in vancouver, it meant lots of snow at Whistler. Lots of fresh powder, and no lift lines.
On my hike up to West Cirque, I felt like using the left side of my brain. I am quite happy how this picture turned out. Just another thing to add to my great day in the snow.

so it was saturday night. there was a pred grad going down. for those who dont kow, a pre grad is a dance, like a night club (but wihtout the legal sale of alcohol seeing how its for minors). it wasa good time, it ended around 1:30 in the morning. instead of busing home, one of my friends, jothem, who drove to pre grad offered me a ride seeing how most of the guys that he came with cabbed home. now if that isnt confusing enough, its not actually jothems car, its his friend will who is an extreme drug user, jothem just had the keys because Will so so incredably high, so he was taken back to his car to sleep. anyways, jothem and his girlfirend were walking back to the car with myself and 2 of our other friends ben and benny. so we get to the car to see if will was still there, hoping that he hadnt left, cause we probbly would never find him agian. however he was still there. the car was a camry, which holds 4 passengers and a driver. if you have been following, there is 6 people. so we came to the decision that i would drive, jo and his girl would both sit together in the front and ben and benny would sit in the back with our half dead friend will. we decieded to take the cabie street bridge home; we assumed seeing how there was construction on, there would be no road checks. we were wrong. we were already part way up the bridge before we saw the cops. we were all going "shi*t, now what". you see we were braking the law in more then one way. i did not have my licence on me(which is atleast over $100 fine) and i only have a novice licence(for anyone who doesnt know, this was a stage which everone has to go through before you can get your class 5. it restricts you to 0.0% blood alcohol level and 1 passenger max(fine + license suspension). to go along with a novice license, you alsohave to display and "n" plate on the car, whihc was also not done(it also comees with a fine). before we got to the road block check, jothem was like "put it in reverse!!!". we couldn't U-turn cause there was a barrier in the way. I was just thinking how am i going to explain this whole situation over the phone from the police station to my parents to try and get bail. i was holding my cool way better then the rest of the guys, except will who was passed out and had no idea what was going on. i drive up, and the cop takes one quick look at the inside of the car and asks us to pull us over. so i did. the cop said to me "have you had anything to drink tonight," and i said no in calm sober state. and then he quickly said with kidna a huumorous tone "you seem to have too many people for the amount of seats in your car". and then he asked me, if i had my license. i replied "i do have a licence, but i dont have it with me" he quickly asked "why not." i then siad "well this isnt my car, i was planning on busing home. but they asked me to drive them home because they had been drinking." and then if things wernt bad enough, he looks at ben in the back seat and asks him "were is your seatbelt" (you see, i assumed everyone had there seatbelt on, i guess they just really trust me to not crash). when i turned around to see that ben didnt have his seatbelt on i though "f*ck, were screwed now" but ben answered the cop straight up "there is a seatbelt, i just dont have it on" i thought to myself "f*ck ben, it didnt accur to you to put your seatbelt on when we saw the raod check!". however to my surprise the cop just said "ok" and left ben alone. what the cop said was "heres whats going to happen, im sure you are a very good driver, but you never know about the person in the other lane, and if your crash she(pointing at jothem girlfriend, sitting ontop of jothem with no seatbelt on) will fly straight through the wind shield. so what i want you to do is drive off the bridge and pull over to the side and call someone to take your extra passenger" we all said thank you(well except will who still looked like he was dead). dude, the smiles of relief on everyones face was priceless. we ofcourse didnt pull over at the end of the bridge, however there was an idle cop car with its lights flashing, we were hoping it wasnt contacted to pull us over, so we took a side street for a few blocks, and no cop followed us. i was getting major props for keeping it cool with the cop and saying how clutch it was that we picked the cop on the left side of the bridge. god, i love vancouver cops.
