hey, im just replying to your q's about kamloops, im from melbourne, so i didnt want to sound funny to any of the canadians. I spent a few weeks in sunpeaks a last year, and it's a really nice place - like australian resorts, but better snow and much more scenic. The ppl on the mountain were awesome and it is still a relativley undeveloped place (compared to whistler and some of the canadian resorts). Kamloops seems like a nice little town, has pretty much everything you need, we found it a little qwirky tho, our taxi driver only had half a hand (i think the town has alot of wood mill industry), hope this helps, and have fun there!
