well.. 10 years in Banff, yes its time for a change. Whistler here I come.....
ok, well,,, almost a month in New Zealand, for 1 powder day. F'n great times.
Yeah!
So.. 2 more days in California, then off for a few weeks to New Zealand. Hopefully it starts snowing down there.

ahhh super happy fun times. Finally getting the hang of this surfing stuff. hangin here in the warm till the end of July, then heading to NZ for a few weeks.
I really suck at Surfing.
...and I'm going for my forst pro baseball game tonight in san Diego. Just bought a new glove. Baseball is the new Pink.

Another man down.... this time its Scott Gaffney. Some will know him, others have heard the name. Scott is one of the most talented and underrated snowboarders on the planet. While Scott was winning x-games gold in boardercross, the sh*tty US media was focusing on how the "Palmdaddy" was beaten..
Anyway, Gaffney was tagged out while shreddin at Nakiska park last week. Broken femur, dislocated hip, punctured lung, 3 cracked vertabrae, concussion, and internal damage. If you can get out April 6th there will be a fundraiser and silent auction in Calgary Alberta to raise money to aid in his costs of recovery.

..I have just found out that another legend has passed on... Greg Todds.
Why does it happen? ...it does not seem fair...
Just a few days ago I was sitting in my snowcat and remembering days long passed, and a halfpipe that sat in the very spot I was working. Years have passed since that day, and that pipe... and finally we are back building on that very run.. I wondered if I could convince him to come out and ride for a day when it was finished.....
The Lake would never have been the place it was without his vision. Every rider in this valley- and beyond owes Greg for what he did for the sport.
Thanks for inspiring me.. I dont think I would be doing what I am now if it wasn't for seeing your creations years ago...
I hope there is endless powder wherever you are now, and you can noboard forever more.
To everyone who doesnt know of Greg.. go find an old copy of RPG films' Mountain Man, Mountain Jimm, or any early Alberta footage... Greg was doing lines that nobody did then, and nobody does now..

FERNIE OPENING DAY.... AMAZING.. Then at 1pm started to rain. ruined the mountain in about an hour.
The first powder day of the the year really reminds you of why you snowboard. Rode my new 168 swallowtail. I dont ever want to ride anything but powder again.
