Magic Kales stump back mountain

Kale just got back from nearly a week at Super park with Jbone & Paavo filming for both Airhole and 8mile. On the first day he slide back first over a huge stump located in one of the landings just barely missing his spine. It put him out for a couple days but he still managed to get a couple tricks on the last day of his trip.

Instead of flying directly back to Vancouver Kale stopped over in Vegas to hang with his man Chris Angel, the latest addition to Airhole squad. According to Kale they're working on a new "sexy magic theme" for the 09/10 line of Ninja masks. When asked about their insta-relationship Angel quickly breaks it down for us "Kale blows minds boarding they same way I blow minds with my magic. We're both at the top of our game so it cool just vibing off each other, the energy's wild. You're gonna see this energy unfold first hand through my new "extreme" blend of Chris Angel magic which I'll be showcasing in the Airhole movie out this fall. Hopefully I'm as big of an inspiration to Kale as he has been to me. Who knows, you may even see a magic trick or two in Kales part??".

Admit it, four blog posts in five days is decent..

I've heard you should learn something new everyday. Yesterday I learned what type of girls Zeddy's into for like two hours and that the Japanese pronounce binding "Bing Ding Ga". Does that count??

Here's a couple shots from a recent trip to Whistler with Zeddy and Goto Son. Just so you know, we killed it.



Two different dudes. Two different backgrounds. Two different ways of taking care of business.



I was too busy getting air to get any action shots so here's some filler from the ride home.




That gap in the rock where you can see sky wasn't there last time I drove up to Whistler. Its construction crunch time so they're blasting the shi*t out of the Sea to Sky HWY to get it done for the 2010 Olympics.







I'm not sure who's grumpier in this photo, Zeddy or Jack..
I'd say its a tie.

Wednesday theme slash trusty technics..

Not sure if you've noticed but this is my third blog post in 3 days. Yes, I'm trying to live up to my word. What to blog about today?? Boring team news like??? ah... Kales sleeping, Duff drank 10 coffee's, Dev's golfing, Mikey has a new weird voice mail message, Wille's experimenting with a new hair cut, Tadashi's eating rice... Nah.. I know, I'll use my trusty google and youtube search technic.

Its Wednesday so I googled "Wednesday images". Super creative, yes I know. Anyway, this is the gold that appeared.

You don't stop when you're on a hot streak so I hit youtube next, searched "Wednesday" again and tadah

I've never seen the movie "Big Wednesday" but will definitely be hunting it down to bring along on my "surf trip" or more realistically "drinking beer on the beach trip" at the end of the month.

You ever realize that once you're on youtube its almost impossible to get off. Its like internet crack. 90 percent of the time you're just watching junk but at the time its more like a butter sandwich. So good going down but you know its bad for you. I don't even know why I'm posting this but I bet you'll watch it till the end.

I guarantee your favorite action sports brand will be sponsoring these dudes next week..

Rave Cave

So I've been catching a bunch of heat for not keeping up with the blog posts lately. I guess there's a bunch of time desperately needed to be wasted out there. I've also been informed that when I finally do decide to get off my sweet ass and post something the material I post is "absolute junk".. Yeah great friends.. I know..
They're right though.. things kind of fell off for a bit but don't worry, I'm working on a come back.



Anyway.... A bunch of our flow team was up to no good this weekend at Mount Seymour. They built this thing they call the "rave cave" and got piss drunk in it all day. I bounced before the cops showed up but here's some footage I was able to capture before I got the hell out of there. Keep in mind this is at about 3 in the afternoon.. Just of taste of how our flow team video project is coming along. Yep, get ready for another beauty..
