HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic Evil Twin 155, Salomon Sanchez and Union Datas all up on Ebay.. Posted on Jun 12, 2009

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic FS: Brand new Evil Twin and Salomon Sanchez, barely used Union Datas.. Posted on Apr 15, 2009
2009 Evil Twin, still in the wrap.

2008 Salomon Sanchez.  Out of the plastic, but is straight from the factory minus a hot wax.

2008 Union Data's.  These have only seen the snow for two days.  They are in near perfect condition. There are a few things worth mentioning just so nobody could say I didn't tell them so.  The toe straps show wear on the tips, this is normal for all Union bindings, that is why they removed the fabric from this part on the 2009 models.  The discs have little indentions were they were tightened down and there is a small dent on one of the heelcups from dropping it on the edge of my friend's board. I would take a picture of these things put they don't show up so that gives you an idea of how minute they are.

Last thing for sale is a pair of Capel pants. These don't have to go like the others I just want to see if I can get anything for them. These are probably the most detailed and best fitting pants I have ever seen, my pictures don't do them much justice.  These have been worn some where between 10 and 15 days.  I got them for cold days and have taken care of them, they haven't been caught on any rails or anything like that.  There are only two things wrong with them, the bottom of one pantleg shows wear from walking on it and the lowest stash pocket has a whole in the bottom.

Well I guess that's all.  I don't have any set prices in mind at the moment so if you are interested in anything or have any questions send me a PM.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic East Coast Spring snowboarding.. Posted on Mar 18, 2009
Alright so I ride Snowshoe, but they are closing on the 22nd and I still want to spend the rest of my break snowboarding.  What are some decent resorts that will still be open.  I was really wanting to go to Mountain Creek and use the half off ad in Transworld, but it looks like they are closing this weekend too.

Thanks guys.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic Palmer or Salomon jib stick?. Posted on Dec 15, 2008
So I have posted numerous threads about what budget park board my friend should get.  Well he has finally narrowed it down to two final choices.  He found great deals on both the Palmer Flash and the Salomon Sanchez.  Again, this board is going to be used primarily in the park, mostly on small rail features and jumps no bigger than 30 feet.

So the question, like always is, does anybody have any experience with these boards?  Is one a standout over the other one?

Thanks for any help.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic How to sharpen edges that come beveled?. Posted on Dec 11, 2008

I want to sharpen my brother's Hatchet and it comes with a 2 degree bevel and I want to keep that bevel. So would I set my file to 2 degrees or would that add to the bevel and make it 4 degree. As far as the side edge goes, I'd assume they kept the edge as a whole a 90% angle so that would mean I woud do a 2 degree angle here, right?

Another small thing I am confused about is I always thought you got out the burrs with a gummi, did the actual sharpening with a file and guide, then finish it off with a diamond stone. But I was reading on RaceWax, where I want to buy my tools, and they said after you get your edges set to the degrees you want with the file then all you have to do is put the diamond stone in the guide to sharpen. They said if you continued to use the file you would wear away your edges. that dosn't make sense to me because I always thought the diamond was to polish the edge off so to speak.

Thanks for the help

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic Brand New Bataleon Evil Twin 155.. Posted on Dec 08, 2008
Alright I bought this board a few months ago when I was planning to go snowboarding a bunch this winter.  Ends up I have to get a job this winter so I can fill aprenticeship hours for school.  Sucks, but my loss can be your gain.

The board is still in the wrapper, I bought it from Tactics.com, so that means it was shipped to me, but as far as I could tell it is perfect condition.  I'm not 100% sure I am going to sell the board so make me an offer, if it doesn't sell I will just hold onto it.  Sorry I don't have any pictures yet, hopefully I will be able to get some soon though.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic Santa Cruz Fusion TT. Posted on Dec 07, 2008

My friend is still on the quest to get a good park board.  Now he is looking at a the Fusion TT.  Can't find hardly anything about this board.  All I know is that is a soft twin tip.  But I've learned that soft means different things for different people.  Can anybody elaborate.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic Signal Park Series.. Posted on Dec 02, 2008
My friend still hasn't found a good board.  He is lookin for a board that he will use all most entirely in our little east coast park, smaller rail features and jumps no bigger than 25-30 feet.

I hear some people say that they are the softest board out there, but they don't go into any detail.  So my question is could anybody speak from experience.  Maybe compare them to other soft boards, like the Hatchet or Evil Twin since he has ridden both of these boards.

He is a little over 5'8" and a little under 155 lbs, but has already decided that if he got this board it would be the 154.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic Stairmaster 152 or 156.. Posted on Nov 24, 2008
My friend is probably going to get one of these because they are such a good board for the price.  He just doesn't know what size to get.  He weighs between 150 and 155 and a little over 5'8".  He is going to ride a smaller size park with rails and jumps no bigger than 30ft.  He plans to use it out of park too for fun cruising.

He was even thinking about getting last years extreme because they have a little more stiffness and a faster base so that way it would make the 152 a little more well rounded.

So some recomendations, especially from experience, would be helpful.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic More binding help. Posted on Nov 18, 2008
So I thought I had decided on last year Cadet Dlx's, but I have come across a little extra money playing poker that I would gladly put towards an upgrade on bindings.  I want  to stay with Union because I have heard nothing but good things about them.

The two I'm interested in are the Force and the Contact.  I am def leaning more torwards the Contact because it has more flex of the two.  My question for you guys is it worth the extra 50 dollars or just save the money for gas to the mountain.

I doubt anybody has much experience with the contacts since they are a new model and it is only the beginning of the year, but if you anything would help in comparing them to the DLX's.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic Advice on Evil Twin.. Posted on Nov 14, 2008
Alright so I wanted to buy a board for park this year and I got a great deal on a Evil Twin 155. But now I am starting to to second guess myself like I always do after a big purchase.

I sat it down next to my Ride Profile 156, my go fast board, and almost everything about the ET is bigger; waist width, nose tail width and lift, and its just as heavy if not heavier on top of that. I know this is a crude comparison, but it makes me wonder. So now I'm worried that even though it is a softer board and is twin tip, it still isn't going to be what I'm looking for.

I want to ride this board in the park mostly and that for me is rails and jumps no bigger than 25 feet. I sure I will ride outside of the park too, but I want it to be able to butter it and all that without having to manhandle the thing. I am just short of 5'9" and weigh in between 155-160 lbs. I guess one thing that helps me is I'm athletic and have stronger legs to help work the board.

So now to my real question.
1.) Should I keep the thing and not worry.
2.) Sell it to get the 151 ET, or is this going to be to small for my size and what I want to use it for. If somebody had experience with these boards and could chime in that would be great.
3.) If 151 is too small sell it and get something else.

Sorry if this was a long and messy read, but I wanted to get all the info out on the table. Any help would be appreciated.

HappyKillmore has created a new forum topic Drake DTMs. Posted on Nov 01, 2008
Alright, I just got a great deal on an Evil Twin 155.  Now I am looking for a good pair of soft bindings to put on them.  I pretty much decided on last year's DTMs because I am on a budget.
My main question is what size binding should I get.  If I were to go by their chart I would get a large, 8.5 to 10.5, because I wear a 9.5.  But I have Nitro Anthems and next to my brother's burton boots, 9.5 too, they seem at least a full size smaller.  Not to mention when I put them in his burton mission's, supposed to fit sizes 8 - 10, they are almost to big because I can't ratchet the cap strap down far enough to get any pressure on my foot.

So if anybody could go into a little detail about how the DTMs fit that would be cool.  Or if you have any thing to say about them at all that would be good too, cause I can't find a thing about them so far on the internet.
