Hey Boys and Girls...

So I am back in SA again... Now snow has fallen... I am missing Canada... You all gonna have a look around for someone who needs an electrician...

The only way I get back is with another visa...

Cheers...

So this morning hit zero degrees... It was cold, but I have been told that cold is relative...

Anyways...

So I am thinking of planning a road trip, renting a winterized caravan, sleep at the pit stop things they have on the side of the road and getting a cheap hotel every other night...

Drive down South to Seattle cross the border, pick up my cousin... Snoquami, Mt Baker for a warm up then head north...

Whistler, Kelowna, Jasper, Banff -- what ever is between there -- and Powder King... till I get way up North where I live...

Anybody got some ideas...

Will have plan this properly, at the moment I am not even sure which resorts are where...

Later...

Ahhh, before I get all excited and tell you all about my new life in BC I need one important answer...

In short my boss is making a mile long ski hill on his farm for me... it is a super awesome run (well for your backyard that is)...

What I wanna know is how do you make a halp pipe... do you wait for winter or do you carve it out in the dirt now in the summer months and wait for the snow to fall or what...

Any ideas?

Ahhhh, has anybody been through this, sitting at Vancouver airport... Tired, feeling every muscle in my body, bored as sh!te... Had a great weekend at Whistler an awesome 3 weeks in Seattle, now I am waiting for my flight - which is tomorrow morning at 07:00... Some how I think I should find a hotel, for some reason this doesnt seem like it is gonna be much fun... Wasnt fun before and it wont be fun now, although I think that there will be an event round 01:00 tonight when they find me sleeping on a couch... haha... Guess I'll go find a bed... Dream about the weekend and the tricks I should have landed but never did... Anyways, sorry for the bored @ss blog but I have another 9 hours to get through, so yeah blah blah blah... 7 may will now be a day I remember...

As the day starts you realize that you dont need a pull over, jacket or any other type of layers, you head off to work or collage or what ever gig you have planned wishing you had never left your sunglasses on the kitchen table...

Ahh, fresh air with rays of sun and as you think to yourself life could not get better, reality smacks you right in the face... OH sh!t... this is possibly my last weekend of the season... my last possible chance to go out and hit some powder... that is if there is any powder, as last weekend was like riding in a giant slush puppy... but hopes are high and slopes are probably gonna be a mess, but boarding is your life and any oppertunity gets taken with a smile...

For those in the US that still get to board this weekend may it be a blast...

For those in Canada, see you next week... I guess I cant take reality at the moment so I am heading north... before long I will have to head south... all the way south...

In case some of you think I am crazy and just trying to follow the snow, it is not quiet like that, I would love to enjoy another summer but I only have winter clothing... So I got to go where I can dress for the weather...

Snow is just the bonus...

As Warren Miller once said, "we can only wish for the all vertical world with never ending winters"...

Yeah so it's my last week in London town... I guess it's a mixture a sadness and joy...

Two years is just enough time to get comfortable, you get sucked up in a new way of living - weekends become a blur, new friends, great parties, care free travel and more jobs then you care to remember...

Then all of a sudden you find yourself in an almost empty room with a cheap bottle of wine and a 6 pack wondering how you gonna pack 2 years of your life in to the smallest box you could possibly find...

The reality of leaving what has been home is not good for the soul and as you throw the empty bottle of wine on the floor you realise how good you had it, most people have not done what you have done, pulled the plug on life
headed to a new one on the other side of the world, claimed a legitimate job of your own and not had a mental breakdown in the process... You could turn up drunk to an interview and the employer will still think you're responsible, motivated and independent.

But in the greater scheme of things there is a new life to start more adventure and more crap to collect, more people to meet who in the first couple of sentences won't understand me, possibly due to the combination of the SA accent mixed with a little english and topped up with some OZ slang...

See you on the flip side... for every thing you loose, you gain so much more...

All I wanna know is in that moment of invert, am I actually the right way round...

Why does nobody ever tell you about the cliff behind the small tree...

                                   ...***...

Constancy is the foundation of virtues...

If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts; but if he will be content to begin with doubts, he shall end in certainties...

You are successful the moment you start moving toward a worthwhile good...

One joy dispels a hundred cares...

Without music, life is a journey through a desert...

Belief consist in accepting the affirmations of the soul; unbelief, in denying them...

For everything you have missed, you have gained something else; and for everything you gain, you lose something...

Always listen to experts. They're tell you what can't be done and why. Then do it...

Your life now is a direct result of every decision you have ever made.

Existentialism
A philosophy that emphasizes the uniqueness and isolation of the individual experience in a hostile or indifferent universe, regards human existence as unexplainable, and stresses freedom of choice and responsibility for the consequences of one's acts.
