it feels damn good to back in canada after in two week urban scan of Poland with gnarcore/alterna representives Matt Belzile , photog Shaun Huges and myself. while we were there we also hooked up with a couple happy finnish dudes named annsi maninen and Matti Routinen, anssi likes slayer and methods and rides with the ease of a 30 year old Terje. Matti loves, coke and chips and of coarse his loumilouta (snowboard). and the polls of coarse. Plaster, R2, josephine and a bunch of other amazing people who's names i can't pronounce. there' a lot shaking in the eastern block these days and with creatives poping up all over the "new west" as its being dubbed, snowboarding is helping lead the way of a new cultural movement.
