Well this was my fourth time up, and snoqualmie 3rd week open. All I
can say is before it even hit december I have gone up mor then 80% of
the people did all of last season (well to snoqualmie at least).
Today was a kick ass day, the summit had gotten 7 inches over the
night, and the roads weren't to bad getting there. On my first run I
hit all powder and was really fun. I was there from 8:45-4:15. (got
some extra runs in) and man was it fun. The only down side was that
every one and there parents where up there (I mean there was about 20
or so parents down at each fire just waiting for there little shi*ts to
come back) so I ended up hiking the terrain park, which was really fun.
I got down my nose slides, and board slides on everything today. (And
since I just started doing nose slides at the beginning of the season I
was stoked) My best feat was doing a board slide to board slide on the
drop box at snoqualmie and actually landing it. Over all it kicked ass,
I mean I even met up with a tight group of people, probably the best
boarders I have seen there in a long time. I guess one of them places
second in the peanut butter rail jam at mammoth some time. And the
others where doing some sweet shi*t like they have been the last 2
weeks.
Well I had my girlfriend up there with me of coarse, sorry forgot to
mention that, and she finally actually could "stay" up with me. I mean
she has been boarding just as long, but doesn't like ice because she
killed her self a few years back (Landed on her tail bone and couldn't
move much for 3 months) and today was the first good snow she has hit
in 2 years. Was hella fun for both of us.
Well leave any comments, I know this is a shi*tty format for a blog, but since it is a blog, it's just my writing. Peace all
Exit 53 for life.
