So I went to the local hill a week or so ago to help teach my best friend to snowboard and such before we throw her on a hill.

and I realized that I am completely, and totally rusty. I can't heelside turn for crap anymore, and I don't know why.

also, my boots seem bigger than last year. I didn't know feet can shrink.

any way, I've recently acquired my old habit of being afraid to 'go fast' down a hill. And I'm not even talking about going fast at all, and I think it's because I just completely forgot how to heelside. I'm feeling like I'm not getting enough response when I turn my body or lift my toes, and it's aggrivating.

anyone know what might be up? I'm guessing it's the boots that aren't allowing me to get the response I should be getting, but it could be completely my own psychological fault.
