I just realized that it is almost my 16th birthday....
sh*t. I'm not doing anything, not having a party or anything. I never expected it to get here quite so fast, really.
It's going to be interesting, being the second oldest in my grade.
Well.... not really, since I don't think anyone really gives a f*ck about my age, they just consider me to be automatically younger than them.
I'm still owed a few presents (kind of conceited sounding - but really I was promised gifts this year), so I'm a little apprehensive that what I get this year might be some piece of crap off the bargain shelf, like what happened on my 7th birthday. That was embarassing. No one wants zebra striped nylons. Apparently there was some horrible mishap and someone thought that nylons meant socks or something, but really, who shops in the girl's section for a boy???!!!

Anyway, if your birthday is also on December 17th or Tevet 10th, or around this time, then MAZEL TOV!!! Have a great day!!!

Hooray! I have almost reached my goal of 666 posts. I'm very excited! I can't believe I would ever get this many posts! It's not because I believe in Satan, but I am obsessed with palindromic numbers...111,222,333,444,555.....666!

_-------this is turning to out to be such an interesting school break. I went to the library today. Yeah, I actually went down to the head branch of the library and checked out nine books. Yes, I know. 9 books. How can I be expected to read them all?! I won't read them all, just little bits here and there. It's hard to believe; another year has passed us by....boy, did it ever go fast! Not only that but here come those dreadful mid-terms everyone has been going on about. Oh the terror! But hey, there are so many other things which are worse than any mid-term I'd be glad to take them, even so.

Gogol. Yes Gogol. His writing is alright, but I think he is too much of a parody, and gets more credit than he is worth. Solzhenitsyn and Dostoevsky did it first; he copied them, the little rascal. I think I will return Gogol early, but maybe I will read some first, to see if my initial reactions are indeed correct. However, I find Mayakovsky to be absolutely fantastic. He is a poet, mind you, so he is out of their class altogether, but like Dostoevsky because they both served in exile. However, Mayakovsky is much more outspoked, provocative and simple. Yes his writing style is simple but highly charged. I don't know why I find his writing to be sooooo good but it just seems that way to me. Perhaps it is because of his outlook on life in general, and what he brought out of the chaos, as he called it, inside his head. Goodness knows he could have stayed in school and been a civil servant. That would have been such a total waste. What he gave to Futurism and many other isms is quite remarkable. I'm not sure that he should be called a poet, though that is the title which he called himself. I think that an "intellectually inclined poetical revolutionary" would be more just to his talents.

I think that communism and leftism has been radically misjudged. Not only is it assumed that Stalin's protege is the ultimate in a goverment of that type, but that every that could possibly be done could only be worse, not better than his prototype. It seems this stance was taken because of all the "hard feelings"over the Cold War in general. However, it appears to the naked eye that Putin is attempting to return to the "old system" by iniating laws and rules from that era, and removing improvements inserted by the likes of glasnost and perestroika. It is sad, really, to watch such a great country, which has the great chance to turn itself around, go to waste in such a hurry. Putin has corrupted the system thus far, and there is no doubt he will continue to do so in such an archaic manner, much to my charign. Leastly, it is not as though a single opinion could ever make a difference to what will happen with his government. A group of dedicated individuals could do it, but a single person such as myself? I highly doubt it! Why should a patriarch pay any attention to the lowly serf who plows his land and grows his food? What right does he have to speak out? According to the patriarch, none at all. This is the vile view upon which Putin thinks of the lower classes of mother Russia. Not only will he return to the old system, but he will drive it into the ground, like an axe does a wedge.

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!!!

I still have one week left of my winter break. This is great; not only do I get to relax and hang with my chums, but I get to recollect all my thoughts and stock up on lined paper for my work. Hopefully it will not be tooooo hectic when I get beack because we are going to start reviewing for our exams! YIKES! Every time I have to take exams I freak out about it and go beserk. Hopefully I can cram successfully this time....This is turning out to be a totally rad break; for my birthday mum got me Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail. It is absolutely hilarious! I have not laughed so much at a video in a lllooooonnnng time. My favorite scene is the one with the knights of Ni in it....HEAD KNIGHT OF NI:
Ni!
KNIGHTS OF NI:
Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!
ARTHUR:
Who are you?
HEAD KNIGHT:
We are the Knights Who Say... 'Ni'!
RANDOM:
Ni!
ARTHUR:
No! Not the Knights Who Say 'Ni'!
HEAD KNIGHT:
The same!
BEDEVERE:
Who are they?
HEAD KNIGHT:
We are the keepers of the sacred words: 'Ni', 'Peng', and 'Neee-wom'!
RANDOM:
Neee-wom!
ARTHUR:
Those who hear them seldom live to tell the tale.
HEAD KNIGHT:
The Knights Who Say 'Ni' demand a sacrifice.
ARTHUR:
Knights of Ni, we are but simple travellers who seek the enchanter who lives beyond these woods.
HEAD KNIGHT:
Ni!
KNIGHTS OF NI:
Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!...
ARTHUR:
Ow! Ow! Ow! Agh!
HEAD KNIGHT:
We shall say 'ni' again to you if you do not appease us.
ARTHUR:
Well, what is it you want?
HEAD KNIGHT:
We want... a shrubbery!
[dramatic chord]
ARTHUR:
A what?
KNIGHTS OF NI:
Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!
ARTHUR and PARTY:
Ow! Oh!
ARTHUR:
Please! Please! No more! We will find you a shrubbery.
HEAD KNIGHT:
You must return here with a shrubbery, or else, you will never pass through this wood... alive.
ARTHUR:
O Knights of Ni, you are just and fair, and we will return with a shrubbery.
HEAD KNIGHT:
One that looks nice.
ARTHUR:
Of course.
HEAD KNIGHT:
And not too expensive.
ARTHUR:
Yes.
HEAD KNIGHT:
Now... go!

so hilarious!
I laugh ever harder each time I watch it. I wonder what happened to the Knights of Ni in the end. When the police inspect the shrubbery it looks as though it was first trampled and then left derelict. Maybe the Knights were arrested. I hope not; they are the funniest characters in the whole movie, apart from Tim the Enchanter and the killer bunny which likes to sever off people's limbs with it's vicious long pointy teeth. I went to a dance last week but it was horrible; nobody wanted to dance and the music sucked! The least they could have done was play some rock but all they played was hip-hop and rap, neither of which I can stand in the least (except Eminem). I have no idea why no-one wanted to dance with me, apart from the fact I was wearing my yarmulkeh....I don't see why that should be such a major turn-off for people, except if they find Jewish people to be 'offensive' in some manner or form. There were a lot of people there I didn't know, which was kind of annoying yet fun because I got to act like a total douche and no-one will ever know! It was great! That part was great but the dance overall sucked badly....if that youth group ever puts on another dance I will not go because it was soooo bad. Not only was the music bad but the dj was terrible and kept making the music all weird sounding. Hopefully there will be a heavy metal dance/concert sometime soon that I can go to!

For some reason my computer keeps shutting off which is proving to be a very annoying thing....Honestly, how is it possible to make a computer that shuts itself off even when you say no that you don't want it to?! This is proof that technology has a mind of its own....how very frightening! Holy smokes, I just realized I still have a huge list of presents to buy for people. Uh oh, better get going! Geez....how could I forget something so regualr, yet so fun? Darn memory....

What good way to start off a week....I have all my money for the dance and the darned fool I'm supposed to buy from ins't there even! SUCKS!

what a foolish thing to do; put my trust in a skipper....fee fy fo fum....

why do I keep rambling on about totally random things, I don't know....I guess it's just my style but style isn't really about what you say but more about what you say or do. Goofyness is a style to but it is so much more random that anything funny or hilarious can be classified as the new random because random is apparently in. I don't know why I am typing so fast but is frun to try and guess how much WPM I have....I used to get 35 but now I think at best I could perhaps push 30 in a typing test but sometimes I get really slow and lazy and take llloooonnng breaks....I have no idea why I keep hitting the CD eject button here on the laptop but I think it is because it is near the delete button and sometimes I need to use that button to communicate. Why is my writing going on this long I don't know but I have the truthful feeling no-one will ever have any remote interest in reading something that should have been killed off like 4000 sentences ago. That is sad, I wish people wouldn't do such things because anyones opinion, however biaseed is just as important as anyone else but that is not what society seems to expect of us. There are to many expectations in life because life itself is just enough of an expectation for human beings without putting in any of this popularity crap which seems to be de rigeur these days. Why is society is such a slump I don't know....Perhaps it is because we rely on technology to do everything for us instead of going and doing it outselves. This computer is a perfect example, albeit one which I never, ever want to give up or trade in for my life. Not really but communicating with others is pretty key for me right now I guess. I like being able to access the world at my command instead of vice-versa; it's tough being the doormat and nobody likes being stepped on. Why is it that I don't like being a doormat? Well, I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been one because by the time I get to be 20 sooooo many people will have walked all over me it isn't even remotely funny. I have no courage to stand up to people face to face and that can really get in the way sometimes. Also, being weak-willed and shy is rather debilitating but anyone can get through anything if they try hard enough. I guess I just have to try harder, like when I do my weights. If I know I can succeed I will succeed, simply put. Next time I go up against a challenge I am going to try to think of that instead of "Oh what should I do now?" It seems like my basic instinct is to try to figure out how to keep my problems from killing me without doing much but this doesn't work well because I have toooo many problems. Everybody has toooooo many problems; life isn't fair and isn't going to get any fairer until we try harder. Or at least I hope that's the way it's going to be; I sure hope the opposite doesn't happen because I think a lot of people would be unable to have any understanding of what was happening to them and why. Boy, have I typed a LOT....I hope my fingers are okay....But hey, it felt nice!

Indeed, indeed....
I've just been reading a bunch of rather old posts from this site (mostly central but skateboard.com is FULL of them....)

I have no idea why I do this....obsession = not!

Abstractism is the sin of the wise...or isn't it?

This weekend has been a little annoying I must confess; I tried to go sledding and bashed my tailbone into a piece of ice, which sucked....But afterwards I got to see this little kid plaster his face into a chain-link fence, which was pretty mean of me to enjoy such a vile thing but it was funny.....from a distance.
He hit the fence so hard he bounced backwards. What an idiot. He had lots of chances to bail out but waited to crash into the fence.

What a mean thing to think.....sucker!

Ah....tonight has been weird. Well, the entire school year has been weird. They keep preaching the same 'there will be tonnes of homework' crap but we have yet to get to anything remotely close to 'tonnes'.... this is one of the things I despise about school. They get you to expect something but it never lives up to the promises and apparently that is because we have done something to have them make a discresion....and yet it happens every year and they mysteriously never tell us what we have done, so there would be no chances of correcting it if we wanted to. There is no chance of reconciliation of forgiveness.

Another thing which is particularly bothersome is their strive to make us all the same.

It seems the only time I have any creative output for this thing is when I feel either depressed or anxious....I wonder where all my energy goes when I don't feel like that.

Aha! I have a goal! I'm going to get the name of 1 heavy metal band for every letter of the alphabet....

I don't know why I have to write this down....
something is very compelling about having  my words posted on the net but I cannot place what it is....

I wish I had something profound to say (really)

I hope people don't just pass me by as another chip off the old block; I would rather be another totally new block but I have a bad feeling that that is not true at all with most people. That was a total run-on sentence. I think I ate to much candy tonight; I feel like **** and this happens everytime I get high on sugar. No more gummy bears or jujubes. Gosh I luv gummy candies. Oh well, something to add to the list of chronic health problems. Maybe Vegan ones would be better.
