Life takes some interesting twist and turns, especially when you follow your dreams....
Never in a million years would I have thought these snowboard stunts would land a show on the Discovery Channel, but alas everything happens for a reason.
I started trying to come up with these alternative snowboard stunts as straight up publicity stunts, and they took on a life of their own.
Tuesday, March 7th at 10:30 PM EST on the Discovery Channel the latest stunt will be unveiled ironically on the cheesiest titled show EVER---"STUNT JUNKIES" (It reairs a bunch like every Discovery Channel Show so if you miss it check their website).
We shot it in December in Keystone, and I really wasn't sure if it would work, as well as having injury premonitions. All in all, the bros and I had a great time getting things done despite the stress of 24 people from Hollywood following your every move in -30 weather. To add to the stress, I found out they would air the show regardless of wether I pulled it off- nothing like looking like a failure in front of millions of people.
I almost forgot to mention, to really bump the stress up, besides having to worry about falling 22 ft to ice if I did a normal halfpipe air, was the fact that I had to sign a contract saying that I would pay the Discovery Channel 50,000 (NO JOKE) if I backed out for no good reason.
I am nervous how they will make me look, they shot over 100 hours of tape for a half hour show and they interviewed my parents who are more than a handful in themselves... I get to see the show for the first time the same time the rest of the world does so I am sweating it.
Love the stunts or hate em, the show will be entertaining- watch it and feel free to laugh at me in EXTREMO WORLD of Hollywood... lol
