So maybe I got lazy on this one...
Just felt good to play.
And it was upbeat!

Line 1:
The grass,
is greener...

On the other side...

I see,
just where...

I need to go.

To see,
and feel

What it would be like.

Chorus
To be over there!

I bet things are better.

And the waters clear.

I bet things are better.

Line 2:

So I!
Intreat you!

To join me on my

Grand quest!
Just think!

Of what we can see.

And feel!
I bet!

It'll blow you're mind!

Chorus
Lets go over there!

I bet things are better.

And the waters clear.

I bet things are better.

Line 3:
So come!
with me!

We'll never return!

There's much!
To see!

Beyond just time and space!

I swear!
You'll like.

Me to be your company!

Chorus
Lets go over there!

I bet things are better.

And the waters clear.

I bet things are better.

We'll see lots of things.

And notice they're better.

When we're standing close.

All things are better!

Our... own... pasture!

Its a sad time for some
body standing outside.
It seems they want to run, but have no place to hide...
They look to self-help books,
but they don't seem to help.
Seems the blows of life, keep giving them its painful pelts.
Its a sad occurence.
But its reoccuring.
What makes it worse is that nobody's reassuring.
The irony of all this.
Is that I talk about it.
But I'm one of those people that are quick to utterly... forget.

Musical interlude...

Nobody really cares...
Because we aren't there.
It seems they cannot share the joy that they find here and there

Nobody really cares.
They wish they'd disappear.
Instead of make them feel bad cuz they show up here and there.

It seems I'm just like them.
Condemn although yet young.
I hear the people begging for a helping hand but won't give one.

We won't say our farewells.
Or watch them go to hell.
They pull the trigger on themselves and want attention, can't you tell?

But...

Nobody even cares.
Nobody even cares.
I don't care, do you care? So its been settled there...

Who cares?

Line 1:

I... saw... you... standing acrossed the room.
And I noticed you were lonely.
I figured I should make a move in.
So I did...

I asked you if you would like to dance...
You're eyes lit up with desire...
I thought I had you ball and chain...
But you said, "no...."

Chorus:

COME ON NOW!!!

I want to be you're fire!
The only one that you desire...

I want to feed your hunger!
So can't you take that plunge?!

Just say yeah... yeah yeah yeah.
Please say yeah... yeah yeah yeah.
Come on now... yeah yeah yeah
Lets Dance!

Line 2:
I... knew... that... you really wanted...
To dance with not just anybody
You wanted me to be that person
So... I'd wait.

I pulled a seat along side you.
You acted like it bothered you but
I know by the way you're shifting
you grew restless...

Chorus:

COME ON NOW!!!

I want to be you're fire!
The only one that you desire...

I want to feed your hunger!
So can't you take that plunge?!

Just say yeah... yeah yeah yeah.
Please say yeah... yeah yeah yeah.
Come on now... yeah yeah yeah
Lets Dance!

Line 3:
Fin... a...lly you gave under pressure.
And I escorted you to the floor.
All we saw was one another.
The room grew vacant.

I stared into you're gorgeous eyes.
You had me hypnotized...
Seemed we were both mesmerized.
By each other...

Chorus:

Chorus:

COME ON NOW!!!

I want to be you're fire!
The only one that you desire...

I want to feed your hunger!
So can't you take that plunge?!

Just say yeah... yeah yeah yeah.
Please say yeah... yeah yeah yeah.
Come on now... yeah yeah yeah
Lets Dance!

Lyrics to a song I wrote...

Line 1:

When it rains... it pours...
All ohhh.... ver me...
I can't... seem to..
Remain... slightly dry...

But I... watch the...
People... on-the-other side
They aren't... soaked...
Not a... drop-is-on-them...

Chorus:
Why... can't... I... join...
Them... on... the... oth...
er...Side... of... the...
Glass...

M-i-s-e-r-y

Loves com-pa-ny...

Line 2:
I saw you ... standing...
Across... the street...
You looked so... lovely...
at least... to me...

You spoke... on your...
cellu... lar phone...
The service... plan...
Must be... cingular...

Its slogan: Lease drop calls
Should be: Most dropped hearts.

I saw the... ring on...
Your... finger...
I should have... bought it...
and made you... my wife...

Chorus:

Its... soo.... un... fair...
I... should... be... the...
One... that... has... you...
Has... you...

M-i-s-e-r-y

Loves com-pa-ny...

Line 3:
I guess that... I moved...
too slow... for you...
You couldn't... wait or...
slow down... for me...

You got in... your car...
I stood in... front of it...
I hoped you'd... mistakenly...
Shift in... to drive...

And run right... over me.
And make me... feel like...
My heart... broken
Yet I still... hope you're happy...

Chous:
I... am... who... I...
Am... be... cause... you...
Wan... ted... me... to...
be... this... but... you...
changed... your... mind... now...

Bridge:
I hope you're happy, right now...
I have a new girlfriend now...
Her name's as sad as my heart...

M-i-s-e-r-y

Loves com-pa-ny... me.
