About Me

I have lived in Calgary for just over a year now. Its pretty sweet causing havoc over the city. I love the party life going out to the bars and dancing up a storm.  I tried boarding C.O.P last year but it really isn't my cup of tea. Im just not a park rider at heart. I love the big mountian experience. There is nothing better in life then boarding, Not even SEX can top the thrill u get when you are racing down a shoot with powder flying in your face. I lived in Golden Bc for most of my life were all i could do is snowboard. I bought a season pass to Kicking Horse this year. Ill just be ripping to Golden every chance i get to go boarding. I work for Dominon Construction as a second year carpenter. The pay is good so i can't complain. The summer is pretty sweat i get to rip around on my triumph, Witch is the 3rd love of my life. Oh yea i forgot the second love in my life witch is Girls. I also love to camp, be in water, listen to music, drive, dance, watch movies, be up high.

Words of Wisdom

Go Big OR Go Home If you dont bail your not trying hard enough. But remember its all about the STYLE.

Driving to the hill, 15 inches of Dry Champane Powder The 4x4 Lada Devouring the snow for breakfast. Get over the crest as the suns rising over Mt 7. Smoking a joint while the rays sqew in the hot box listing to sweet shop with your best buddy sitting beside you.  No worries this day is going to be Hevan.

My Blog: Sunday, November 12, 2006
Went to Sunshine for the opening weekend.  It had snowed 17 cm for the arivell of me and 3 of my buddys. The lift ticket was $50 witch was good.  The snow was good for the earlyness of the season. They had 5 chairs open, and i thought that the terrian was way to flat and slow. It almost felt like it was a beginners hill the black i thought that they felt like blues.  I had to take off one of my bindings a bunch of times there was just so much flat spots.  I dont think you should have to take off your binding just to get back to the chair.  ( What are we X-country boarders).  I talk to the locals about this and they said that once you know the mountian u learn were all the flat spots are and you try to avoid them.  I never got to ride the big mountian shoots that they have because that was all close but for the stuff that was open i thought the terrian suxed and i was really disipointed.  I still had fun snowboarding is still snowboarding in the end of things. I think i will try out the hill later in the season when all the terrian is open. I like the idea of the chair acsesible back country where u need all your gear i think that that is a killer idea. No hiking and you get to ride some powder that not to much people get to ride.

Whats your thoughts on this hill?

i guess i'm a park rat. although i'm more into just going down the hill as fast as i can than hitting the actual park.

thanks man i appriciate it. i agree with your writing on sunshine (scumshine) i haven't been there this year but i know what you mean about the flats... i hate that so much. I went for opening of louise and honestly the powder was rad and there were some icy patches by rarley any flats. louise is one of my favourite places as well as nak and fernie. anyways have a rad night!
