Hi. I've been looking to buy some Flow bindings on the net, but have a question first.
What I haven't seen is forward lean option on the back. Do they have one? |

How do I tell my mom that I.....
Posted on Mar 27, 2008
 |
No, I am not gay.
Here is the scenario.
My Mom, Dad and sister all live in Winnipeg. My Mom wants to move out here with my sister this summer. My dad will stay in Winnipeg and run the family business..etc.
Neither parent wants to sell the house they have in Winnipeg. Therefore, my mom is asking me to sell my condo and buy a house so we can all live together.
Here is the problem. I don't want to live with them. I like my space. I don't want somebody asking me where I am going, or why I am still awake, or why I am wearing the same shirt for 6 days...etc
I am finding it increasingly hard to tell her 'No'. I mean she is my mother, and she did everything in her power to help me who I am today. How do you tell somebody that is your parent that you don't want them to live with you, or that you won't buy a house they can stay in.
Im 26 years old and want to start my life soon. I want my own family.
I was thinking that I could just give them my money and they could buy a place, but then that leaves me SOL since houses here start at around 900k. I'll have to rent while they enjoy the benefits of a home of there own.
It's a tricky situation and there are alot of feelings involved. I've thought about it for hours, days, weeks and am still at a lost.
Any advice? |

What are some well priced Cat-Boarding places?
I don't know any names, or companies. Id like to ride 5 days and spend around $2000 give or take.
Whistler is killing it, but I have always wanted untouched powder. |

New Slang.
Posted on Dec 20, 2007

Im 26 now, and find myself using still using words like; sick, ill, dope, slimmy, tittyballs..etc.
Then a few weeks ago my little cousin (17) comes here and is calling girls 'Breezies', and nice clothes 'hypebeast'
I was shredding a week ago and some old man cut the line and a young kid says "that old dude is spicing the chilli'
It occurred to me that I am out of the new slang loop.
Since a lot of you are young, tell me what's hot slang on the streets these days. |

A report on the Lib-Tech Skate Banana.
Posted on Dec 10, 2007
 |
Alright. I don't know how objective this report is going to be considering my last 5 boards have all been Lib-Tech's.
I have been riding the Magne-traction for 3 years now, so it's nothing new, but if you haven't tried it out your really should. It holds edge so well, but can still be taken into the park and not catch on rails. I was in Whistler last week and it was super icy, and this thing just ripped through the ice like nothing. makes riding ice feel like soft packed.
Banana Technology: I usually ride my 160 so I was a little iffy about making the jump to a 156. Wheelies, Nose Presses, Tail presses, and Butters are all so easy with this board. It's almost cheating. It makes freed riding so much funner when you have the ability to butter and press without using alot of energy.
FLaws:
I took it into the park and hit a couple of kickers and was kind of bummed on the landings. Since it has a rocker built in it almost feels like you land flat on every landing. It's kind of weird. Maybe I just haven't found my legs yet, but this was a bummer.
All in all a 8/10 |

Numb Feet.
Posted on Dec 10, 2007

Hey everybody.
i have no idea what-is going on with my feet this season. My feet have been going numb after an hour or two of riding. it feel's like like they fall asleep. Numb, tingly, heavy.
I know im not tying my boots to tight. Could it be that im tightening my bindings to much?
Ive been riding for almost a decade and this is the first season it's happened to me. |

A question about missing pieces.
Posted on Dec 10, 2007
 |
I've been using my F-60's for about 4 years now, and love them to death, but in the last year I have lost the toe-lift(??) piece. You know the thing under your foot that lifts your toes up??
My question is, do you think this affects my riding at all? |
