After returning from 3 tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan a United States Marine took some college courses to further his career. One of his courses he enrolled in was taught by a staunchly libral professor. About half way through the semester the professor starts a lecture by standing infront of the class and announcing "If God is real, in 15 minutes he will strike me down!" With this statement the class look at eachother and murmer in hushed tones. The professor then continues with his lesson. 15 minutes pass and nothing happens. The professor smirks a little thinking he has proven his point. From the back row the Marine stands, walks forward and knocks the professor flat on his ass.
The professor looks at the Marine startled and asks "What in the hell did you do that for?".
The Marine grins and announces to the class "God is busy protecting the soldiers, so he sent me in his stead!"
