Old Spice's Urban Rail Jam Came to T-dot (Sat, mar. 3rd, 2007)

Saturday, March 03, 2007
All right, so today was the Old Spice Toronto Urban Rail Jam.  and I have to say, it wasn't all that impressive as I was expecting.  Albeit, it was good and entertaining, but I figured it would bring on "WOW!'s"instead of the regular "Cool's"...  The custom-constructed rails were all right, and the snowboarders did their best for entertainment, I'll give them kudos for that.  But coming to the show expecting to see some pro riders throw down some heavy rail jibbin', well, let's just say I didn't stay for the whole show, and I'm glad I didn't come out to it at the starting time.

In light of the show, I did come out satisfied with it.  Along with putting my ballot in for a chance to win the grand prize of going to Whistler's EPIC Telus event, I managed to score some Old Spice Body Wash and walk out with a satisfied grin.

For those that are thinking I am "trash talking" those boarders, I'm merely just expressing that it was below what I have expected to come out and see, but in light of my expectation, they did leave some impression on me.  Because of this, it has really pumped up my spirit in wanting to go and hit some rails of my own.

Now, if only I could find a place in Toronto to hold down a solo rail session... hmmm..

To conclude, the only bad thing about this show, was me forgetting to bring my damn camera with me to take some shots..  Now that really hurts..
