Just got home last night from Costa Rica.  I have to say the trip now ranks among my top 2 (Greece still being #1) vacations ever.  Despite being full of bruises, bug bites, and a crazy rash on my back, surf camp was loads of fun.  The instructors truly made it quite the experience.  They were a group of local guys that had the greatest personalities out of anyone I have ever met.  Also, was an awesome experience finally catching "real" waves without their help.  Pura Vida!
