Yes today was my best and perhaps also the last day in the summerpipe in Zermatt before i will get my titan plates removed of my arm .

Perfect Pipe, Perfect Weather, Friends and a lot of fun.... ahh it was just amazing....

Perhaps that's the reason why i'm still smiling like an idot :-D

But hey, nobody is perfect ;-)

and finally i went up on the mountain again.

Nice day, good shaped pipe and a lot of fun.... seems i am happy again ;-)

and i still can't wait for the winter :-)

 

yes it's getting colder and the summer is almost over...

whatever you like more summer or wintertime

here the winter already knocked on the door and I can't wait to see the winter coming !

Oh my god!

The weather changed so quickly.

Today it was so hot.
(normally in spring we still have cold temperatures, but not right now)

The snow melted incredibly fast and some slopes had to be closed because of avalanches.

I think my "winter"season is going to end earlier than i thought.....

But hey that's alright!!

It was a short but really nice season for me.

I mean, new friends, new tricks and new stories were made and it was all about the fun...

So Thanx to everyone, who made my season that nice!!!!

Yesterday i had to help on the slope....

A kid had an accident in the park and i helped the first aid team to load him into the helicopter, which flew him into the hospital.

The boy was wearing a hightech jacket and all the best (blingbling) stuff you can find nowadays...

He wore a helmet and tons of protection gear, but still managed to hurt himself by trying to ride the Kicker with lack of speed.
Then he told me : "it's so rad that they send me to the hospital by helicopter, could you take a picture of me, i have to send that to all my friends...."

 

And suddenly i started to ask myself.

Is this it? Or am i just too old to understand that?

 

When i started riding, the gear wasn't that important.

We just had fun. We tried some new tricks and talked about everything and we tried to enjoy the time. It was all about the fun.

But suddenly that changed. Now everyone wants to be "gangster" or "cool".

The clothes are more important than the tricks or the style.

The technical part means your wearing at least an ipod jacket instead of doing a technical trick on the slope.

And the fun means, you're just trying to be cooler than the rest of the world....

That really pisses me off!!!

 

Where is the fun? Where is the love?

Yeah right!

I just started my holidays!

First tought: yeah damm finally i arrived to my first day off! No studies for one week

2nd tought: Damm, now i have to work for others... :-(

3rd tought: Why the hell must everything be that expensive.

I wouldn't have to work right now if it would be cheaper.

And with "it" i mean my living costs, the snowboarding, the damm tickets to get onto the top of the mountain, the f*cking boots i couldnt afford.

 

Dont you think the same sometimes?

 

- but then suddenly i see a picture with a powder run and someone is cruisin down.... and then suddenly i know why it is so hard work.... because we would do everything for it :-)

2007 started totally nice over here.

We got some fresh powder and a lot of fun....

After some nights in the hospital and 2.5 months of rehabilitation the season finally starts also for me :-)

I'm so excited. Tomorrow i'm going up to the mountain and i hope my knees still have got enough power to ride the whole day, although i didnt do any sport during those 2.5 months. (oh my god i'm a fat bastard right now :-) )

 

Ok that blog wasnt perhaps that interesting to read... sorry but i'm really excited right now  to go ridin' again.
