Words of Wisdom 

I had everything I wanted
Only to loose everything I needed
If this wasn’t enough
Then nothing ever would be
For it is Gone
And only a shadow remains
A shadow that haunts my dreams
To steal any happiness that may be
To cloud my future
With thoughts of the past
These are what I dwell upon
My own self-destruction
Which keeps me on edge of sanity
Reality lies in a distant land
This burden I have taken
Has now taken me
The burden of distant memories
Sweep over my mind
And darken my soul
I am bitter and tired
Mostly tired of being bitter
Is there no happiness for me
Will this ever end
Only when I’m satisfied with what I need
Will the thoughts of what I had
Be able to rest for good
And if this isn’t enough
Nothing ever will be
