Words of Wisdom
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - What a Ride!"
"Why tiptoe through life just to arrive safely at death?"
"Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive"
This quote describes me more than any other. You can handle this, you can handle me:
There [looking at the sea, leaning side by side on the railing of the
San Antonio], we understood that our vocation, our true vocation, was
to move for eternity along the roads and seas of the world. Always
curious, looking into everything that came before our eyes, sniffing
out each corner but only ever fainlty - not setting down roots in any
land or staying long enough to see the substratum of things; the outer
limits would suffice.
